Design : What does it mean ?

Apparently there is no generally accepted definition of the word DESIGN. I had no idea !
Yet, “design” is a word that tends to evoke a lot of emotions. Also in our (RedDog’s) office, there is the never ending clash between the “designers” and the “engineers” .
