Traveling up to the top of the Eiffel Tower is much easier and less time consuming than being ranked on top of competitive keyterms. Getting ranked itself could take a matter of months in comparison to 3 hrs but I could see some resemblance.

To start earning money with your blog, initially use Google Adsense but gradually as your traffic increases, keep adding more and more money making programs to your site.

Thank God getting to the top of Google is a matter of knowledge, time and or money but I can only imagine getting to the top of Eiffel Tower to have a shop is far more difficult and expensive.

I guess that fits in with your comparison with Google too. Unusual yes, but the resemblance is there.

I was talking to someone just today who said he had to wait for 3 hours to get the lift to the top of the Eiffel Tower, but that sometimes it can take much much longer, depending on circumstances. I guess that fits in with your comparison with Google too.

There are certainly many business and online marketing lessons we can learn from everyday life. This is a great analogy, Mig, and makes your point very effectively.
