According to detox.net.au there are 2 different food residues - acid and alkaline. Coffee is acidic, herbal teas is alkaline. We should have a 25% acid/75% alkaline ratio in what we eat, but I'd bet if you look at the list, you'll be shocked at the amount of acidic residue foods we put in our mouths every day!

Its time to rise up and fight against this maddness! Don't eat things unless they are in natures own packaging. And quit eating so much! Now I just have to take my own advice. Check out a book I've heard about called Death by Rubber Ducky. Not about food but about living well with less toxicity in our lives. I'm going to check it out.

Unfortunately it IS our problem and in a LARGE and GROTESQUE way. The amount of people with fat-retalted diseases is weighing on an already overworked medical system and who will pay for their inability to work? It will be the people taking care of themselves, and eating the right stuff.

"this is not OUR problem. unlike the "it takes a village" concept. These people have unfortunately been raised this way and will be unable to change their lifestyles
